Perhaps
the most fascinating feature of bamboo is its endless possibilities of
utilization. Every
day about half of the world population uses bamboo in one of its
uncountable forms. In some cultures the link between bamboo and
the development of civilization is so tight that it is impossible to
speak about one without mentioning the other. In his "
the
book of bamboo" David Farrelly lists a bamboo catatlog
describing more than 1000 uses of bamboo. An intersting collection
is also the "
one
